Fried Rice

A simple, satisfying one-pan meal that turns leftover rice into something delicious.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice (preferably cold)
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup mixed veggies (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Tips

  • Cold rice works best—it won’t get mushy.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan for even cooking.
  • Add leftover meat for extra flavor!

Cooking instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, then scramble the eggs. Set aside.
  2. In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add veggies and cook for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Add rice and mix well.
  5. Pour in soy sauce, add eggs back, and stir everything together.
